HEATHKIT DX100 TRANSMITTER. - very good condition It covers the 160m through 10m bands on AM and CW and has a built-in VFO. Input power is around 200 watts on AM and CW. Uses two 6146 tubes in the RF final and produces 125 watts output on AM. The modulator uses a push-pull pair of 1625 tubes for 100% modulation. Great AM and CW transmitter in excellent shape. Front panel and cabinet look almost like new. All orginal knobs. Has already had the loading capacitor modification done to make this equivalent to the advanced model DX100B. AC power cord has been replaced with a SAFE, 3-conductor cable and FUSES have been installed internally for the AC line. No more fuses inside the 2-pin AC plug! This rig is all checked out and working except for a minor repair that is needed to the speech amplifier circuit. Most of the caps in the speech amp have already been replaced.
